I think, and thus, I die
I think, and thus I am. I think, and thus, I die.
To accept my thoughts are to accept death.
To accept the truth is to accept a lie.
I smile, and breathe my final breath.
Lost to the world. Dead to the senses.
Doubting my emotions. The soul’s defences.
Broken by thought. Understanding nothingness.
Moving through the world in perpetual regress.
Language fails me. Friends forsake me. Pain stays.
Monsters embrace me. I embrace myself. Perpetuity pays.
I love and lose.
I die to prove
That I think, and thus, I die.
