The ocean it's been calling for her
Each tide each day hoping she would leave
As the water touched her feet
    She wanted to flee
Into depths and darkness that she wanted to meet
She never knew the reason but
Wanted to soak up her deep dry heart neat
Her escape from this arid world
    Her escape from the darkness
She left to finally feel free
As she leapt from 14,000 feet
The salt soaked up her veins
And she like water from my hands
    Left nothing to hold on
But a note to say goodbye
    The waters were her escape
    The darkness her reason.
