There's a hushed breath
A somethings not right attitude
With living these days
When the whisper of promise
In this world can un-materialise
To fade as fast into the glimmer of yesterday
The world has turned upon itself
Seemingly overnight, or have I been blind
To perceive the interweaving particles
Hit and combine like a fusion
There are glimmers within saddened eyes
Hopes that dance to the dreams
But alas there yields the day
To dash any promise away.
The chimes of the climate
Weave the hidden fears more robust
The clock on the wall ticks as if its last
And sitting the voyeur views the flow
Of wars dark harbouring antics
And natures rage.
I can only but wonder what all the dreams were for.
