    We know we are not immortal and yet we overly make such hue and cry about environmental pollution as if it is not inevitable and development could happen superficially without causing even a smidgen of environmental degradation. Degradation is as inescapable as death. No sage people ask God to deliver them from death. Then there is an argument about 'future generation'- a "future generation" which does not exist today and need not be existed tomorrow, but which is necessitated by our fatuous zeal to have a legatee of present humankind. "We are degrading environment now, but what afterwards?" they ask. "Why their must be an afterward?" I can't fathom. It is like first willingly causing a disease and then creating victims-which were not present earlier- on your own volition. Given our vehement urge to have a future at all cost, it would be impossible to create pollution-free world because pollution is entirly contingent upon evolution.
