    Wedding Day

    Polarised, we both stood there
    and vowed, holy Father,
    through thick and through thin,

These have been the leanest years.
    You forgave me
    a whole load of trespasses,
    shouts of kingdom come

    in all the wrong places,
the way I yell deliver us from evil
    at my own reflection.
Our hearts are still the art of heaven.

    Hallowed is the euphoria
    of the newly wed,
but back at the hotel room
    we just slept.

    Such is our daily bread,
    our temptation.
But baby, if we can get to Vegas and back,
    we can do anything.
