She had put on a bright smile,
But she suffered a deep sorrow within.
She was in the middle of a crowd
Yet she was lost in the cloud.
Cloud of sorrow, cloud of pain.
She pretended to bask in happiness,
Yet she was drowned in sadness.
She was taken for granted by people.
Only if they knew, she had a hard time,
In believing herself.
Only if they knew, she craved for solitude.
For them she was nothing but smiles.
But she, in real, was a lost soul.
