    Wonders from the Beyond

    More than a time,
    I have witnessed the burial
Of a man past his time.
    And I have always wondered,
What does a dead man have to say ?
What is the view of a lifeless soul ?

    Now, the ironies of life
Has taken it tolls to the beyond.
As I, who was once alive,
Is now lifeless and gone to the beyond.
As I, who have once wondered about the dead,
Is now the one who is dead.

    My funeral is going on
A number of well-wishers coming in
Amongst them, family, friends and foes
They have all come to express their grief of my woes
    Someways, I can finally figure
Who were the friends as well as the foes.

Oh ! How I would have loved
To spend yet again, some minutes
    With those I once loved
To relish once again on the memories made while alive.
To feel the face of my wife
And the gentle bodies of my children

To let them know who is the friend
And the ones that are liars
To let them know who to turn to, in time of need,
And those to stay away from.
To let them know who to beckon on
And those who can send them here, the beyond !

    Though I have none again
    My heart weeps
    To fulfill my desires
    From beyond the grave
    My soul longs
Though it lives, yet matter a little

    Though I can shout
I know better that no one will hear
    Though I can talk
I know better that no one will hear
    Though I can cry
I know better that no one will hear

    Now, it is no wonder
What the man in the beyond wonder
I have borned questions while I was alive
Not knowing I only, know the answers on the long run
    Questions answered, piece by piece
Now, what I desire the most is that I rest in peace.
