A recurring fear of my childhood was losing the sight of you in a crowd. Everytime we travelled by train, you got down at stations and only jumped in at the last moment. It made my little heart anxious. I did not know what we would do without you. Without you, we would be lost.
When at 17, i came back home alone for the first time from Delhi, you told me you were proud of how brave i was. You were happy i was becoming self-dependent. But you would always receive me on the station, and also drop me when i had to go back.
