    Last night,
    I witnessed a robbery.
    And to my fright
    You were the robber.
    What were you thinking?
    When you slapped my mother
    And shunned her modesty.
You were my hero, my saviour.
    But yesterday as the night
    Drew the dark blind,
The curtains which I had unfold
    In my eyes were raised.
    And I could see,
    How you, my father
Kicked my mother in her tummy
    Where resided my unborn brother.
    You went away leaving her
Wailing in a pool of blood
    And bereaving me
    Of my innocent childhood.
