Ephemeral.......

I believe most of the saddened
souls are ignorant of the fact that
everything we do or don't have
knowledge about, is ephemeral

What makes them more disheartening
is, not accepting it and longing for
things to state perpetual

But I ponder,
What would this world be like
without these souls.
Longing for things to
stay permanent is what
we, as humans like to believe.

Even if we accept the fact that
everything is ephemeral,
a part of us will always believe in 'forever'
