    How to write a poem

    Alliteration
Allow me to drizzle deep thoughts down on a page for you to destroy
    Simile
I need your approval like a bird needs a cage
    Metaphor
But your sweet words are sugar to me
I've always had a sweet tooth and we both know I enjoy my sweet with a little spice
    Imagery
Your words can be harsh, burning my skin like a fire unable to be tamed
Your names you call me can cause such pain like an alarm ringing for days
    Repetition
So allow me to to drizzle deep thoughts down on a page for you to destroy
