The Secret of Happiness
Not so many days ago, a question aroused why
When koels didn't sing and doves became shy
When oaks were withered and pines became dry
A moment of solitude touched my heart
Leaving an untouched puzzle
Where does the secret of happiness lie?
Maybe it is in the branches of the withered oak tree
Maybe it is in the fact that the doves are set free
Maybe it is in the type of way one sees
Because the same dry branch
Saddened the man and made the kid to glee
Maybe it is in the secret of the pines becoming dry
Maybe it is in the fact of the koel waiting for it's new baby to cry
And maybe that's where does the secret of happiness lie
