Dust and rubble, all I had seen
When the houses we built shattered.
The flickering lamp, about to dim
Only a gentle breeze now mattered.
You refilled the lamp with fuel
And made the flame sore high;
You warmed the site of the rubble
And built a beautiful home there.
Home to forgot the time of trouble,
A home where love dwells,
A home where warmth prevails.
