    Faceless Woman

In amidst the abyss of an ocean,
    Of dark and blue,
    And brownish hues,
    There I saw,
    The faceless woman,
    So beautiful,
    No eyes to see,
    No mouth to speak,
    Nor any ears to hear,
    She seemed to smile,
    Ignoring her denial.

    As I screamed towards her,
    She just stood there,
    No eyes to peer,
She couldn't hear the echoes bursting in my ears,
My eyes went from blurry to clear,
She too had lost someone dear.

    She's now alone,
    The faceless woman,
    No place to go,
    But down under,
And so she lurks in the waters,
    Where stones and creeks,
    Following shadows lingers,
    Like the faceless woman,
    Whom we speak,
    Will die an eternity,
    Until she decides,
    To return to reality.
