I learn what and what not
I rent you as a pair
I reminisce on all your wrong doings and
dare to be different in my humanity.
to think that your handbookless lives could orchestrate a better chorus than us.
A faulty premise,
That your mistakes couldn't be the lesson essential,
That your argument for my existence was actually needed,
That your flaws were not my utensils,
aiding in my clawing out of life's snares.
I learn from, I grow through you and in all of its confusions
This journey's transfusions of experience,
Left me with a gifted curse
Your past won't last,
your legacy surpassed
Your faults won't be rehearse.
