The last I saw you, it was spring
Sunlit sky with pastel hues
World was at its prime
Brimming with life
Last we met, we were in each other's embrace
Winter leaving no trace
The new born feelings awakened with the sprouting buds
Little did we know it would cease to exist
A period of separation not much behind
The feast of spring now seemed barren
Soon followed by the tears of monsoon
These tears now replaced by the snow of winter
Will I have to wait for this ice to melt again?
How long will It take for me to embrace you again?
Maybe another spring day.
