The forgotten love

Now that you have come here
to confess your love to me,
It is the first time my heart has
missed a beat in a long time.

My heart is saying let talk about
What went wrong,
It is saying that I should hug you
and burry deep in my arms.

Even destiny has set us apart
from each other,
I still want to place your head on my
Chest and pamper your face.

I admit that I should have clasped you
The distance between us has
torn apart my heart.
It wants us to be forever.
