    Hello Readers.
Thank you so much for such warming feedback for my previous post. Assuming that you waited anxiously for Part II, here I am as promised. Honestly, it has been a different experience writing it, and I am sure people may have experienced similar feelings.

For those who haven't read Part I of this poem: it is under the title- The moonlit

    The Dusky Night- Part II

    Oh there he comes
    As our eyes meet
But the feeling stood for a while
I have a flashback of our embraces
And the warmth of the kisses.
A recap of event crosses my mind
    And as I sigh
     I skip a heartbeat.
    Maybe he has finally realized
That I have my heart turned to a stone
    All the closeness I felt
    Turned despair in cyclone
Everything left behind has turned grey
Perhaps it took him a while
Maybe I was in a hurry with my feelings
    Turning hostile
But now, as I look at him
    Through the door, I smile
    As I see him desperate
With his spirits that reconcile to mine
    And even for briefly
    Those traces I leave behind
    Are pleasingly worthwhile.
