When Flowers Die
Removed from the ground they begin to whither.
The once greenest stems will show lines of browning veins that will slowly bleed through.
Petals lose their brilliant glamour.
Looking to the dirt under its feet in a saddened state of defeat where, not too long ago, they smiled brightly to the heavens.
Nothing lasts forever.
Not even the amazement of the moment when the end seems nonexistent.
