Tears on my window
I won't look back at the tears on my window
Where my eyes bled in fear of a bleak morrow: the past, I name it past.
When I fell to the lowest grounds
And I had to look up, but all I would see was the red earth
Where my heart bled in fear of a bleak morrow;the past, I name it past.
My being pleaded for the North star, it pleaded, my tears pleaded for it's light ;the past, I name it past.
It was a long sleep that I had, then I felt the light brush of hope against my skin
My lashes came apart and I saw the future, I name it present.
I'm sailing across thin air: the North star,my fairy dust
My boat shan't capsize, I tell you the sky is my mother.
I won't look back at the tears on my window,
Where my eyes bled in the face of words that battered my soul: the past, I name it past.
