Who does not want their Instagram feeds to look perfect?
And burn all friends with perfect pictures?
But has anyone thought that there are great places in India too.
One of my favourite place is North East.
Guwahati is known for silk which is easily the most prominent one. Assam's gold silk or muga silk is one of the finest varieties,it is so beautiful and exquisite that it is not produced anywhere in the world.
They work on traditional weaving looms,
Fancy Bazaar is Guwahatis most famous market(retail and wholesale hub of Guwahati), also there is a very intersting place called Mayang village which is located on the banks of River Brahmaputra, also, it's the birthplace of black magic. It derives its name from the Sanskrit word 'Maya' which means illusion. There is a place called Anuraag Dhaba which is famous for authentic Assamese food. There is also Nonoi Tea Estate which is biggest tea state in Assam and it's been there since the early 1940s. Tezpur gets its name from the spice factor of the chilly. There is Bombdila Monastery which is beautiful and surreal. Since it's freezing throughout the year in Bombdila, locals have a culture of setting up a bonfire every night and drink a local drink called *Apong* it's supposed to heat you up from within. Tawang had twin markets, Tawang Market and Nehru Market on the other side. It also has the India's largest Monastery, Tawang Monastery.
Though, people just think of North East India as a place but it has so many things to offer.
That's all I have to say about North East India.
