    The Old House

She was reminiscent of an old house
Down the road in a quaint countryside
    Sober & Splendid

The rustling leaves & the creaking floors
    Curiously awaiting bystanders
Sporadically ecstatic if ever the iron gates clanged

And In her dingy four walls
    Sheltered by cobwebs and mesh
The untenable old house had an occupant , unbeknownst
For my heart lived there too
