    Mother Nature

Beware the darkness of the earth
    That lingers after dusk
    For Nature loves her creatures more;
    Humans are but a husk.

When light shines on the world below
    She watches and sees all
And if she finds a human fault
    It will be our downfall.

See, humans are a plague to her
Who bring her death and lies
To choose between creatures or us
To choose from love or flies.

So when she's sick of all we've done
    And it's time to decide
Our wretched breed that's born of lust
Will need to fight the tide.

When Nature's light has gone from earth
    And humans face discord
Who then will be our saving grace
    The flower or the sword?
