The Teardrop's fire

This wet salty trickle
its path traces the lines of the face
leaving the trail of pain's pleasure
albeit with such anguished grace
 
With every drop from the eye
blood from the heart is shed
releasing bonds to bitterness
showering rains on freedom's bed
 
Sparkling within its very shimmer
to taste its warmth and beauty's glow
the fiery emotional abundance it carries
power of unleashing and letting go.
