Wisdom Tree

It facinates me to know
Just all the stories one tree must've witnessed
All those forgotten tales of love, pain, and war
Of all these recollections imprinted on his leaves
Oh the history of millions
That this one wise tree have seen
Of all these lovers' blossoming romances
Carved on his everlasting bark for all to see
Officially marking him as precious territory
Imaging that I'm in those crinkling eyes
Viewing this lifelong movie
Watching for myself
All the stories one tree must've viewed
Oh how it intrigues me
