4. Drop glue words
Glue words are those words which don't give information like prepositions, conjunctions, determiners and anything except for noun, useful adjectives and adverbs, and verbs.
Example: After I woke up yesterday, I went to the washroom for a shower and then had a breakfast.
Rewrite: Yesterday morning, I had my breakfast after the shower.
P.S: Prepositions do provide information.
