On a day as warm as my skin
I first saw the little stranger
Standing near a witch hazel tree
It's leaves falling at his feet
He was dressed in a loose garb
    Seemingly made of raven feathers
His eyes were leering bloody red
    His hair covered in spiderwebs
The sight of him kept haunting me
    For days together, until today
When I saw him again at my door
Waiting to prey on my blood
Even before I got a chance to run
He pounced upon me like a tiger
As he pinned me down like a doll
An evil smile played on his lips
And just before he snapped my neck
He whispered in a hoarse tone
    "All humble beginnings has to
    suffer miserable endings."
