    Beauty Of A Leaf

    How can they fall,
    Those golden leaves?
    Mixing with October,
    In a soft, autumnal breeze,
    Does fortune smile,
    In a sun lit swirl,
    As nature's confetti,
    Dances and twirls?
    Why do deep reds,
    Mix with russet brown?
    Small masterpieces,
    Laying on the ground,
    How can we not see,
    The beauty of one leaf,
    As we rush by?
    It's just beyond belief.
