    Serene Sights

    Like a humble guest,
    You knocked at my door,
    Yet, as a mischievous kid,
    You stayed there no more.

    Like a soothing shower,
    From seventh heaven you plopped,
Yet, as a short lived flower,
    You blossomed, battered and stopped.

You were frost lingering on leaves,
    On an austere, alluring night,
    Yet you flew into solitude,
    As a string-deprived kite.

Your advent for me was truly divine,
For you it was mischief and play,
For me it was a pious sign,
    For you just another day.
