I heard the roar of rushing rain
Like radio static
In my ears
The flood washed over my spirit.
I sank into the heavenlies;
A sea of many colours
I floated on the seabed and breathed
A rainbow oxygen
Fresh for my soul
And the waters washed over my spirit
Washed the dust weariness
Then the mighty Lion came
Larger than the sea
With a roar of rushing rain
And sweet sound of many waters.
Manly mane swimming like the hair of a million ladies.
He gave me a new song.
He breathed into me pure music;
The music of lions
And we roared together.
