Falling in Love
Love starts with a cursory glance,
With a tiny sparkle from the eyes,
That holds you in a sweet trance,
Erstwhile a feeling you recognise.
A brief second impulse hesitation,
A skipped heartbeat, fast breathing,
And like a river with no cessation,
Love springs forth and starts flowing.
Oh what a tingle! You light a smile
Across your face and it's so wide,
You feel so strong as to sprint a mile,
Oblivious of the impending tides.
