Romance is extravagant.
I realised something today.
We cry after watching a film or reading a book filled with this potion of romance because somewhere deep down we try to search for something similar in our lives.
Yes, such immensely mesmerizing love exists, but its the case of few among millions and we rue that we were not among the lucky ones to have such a beautiful story.
We wish we were those characters, we wish it was our story, we wish someone had loved us so deeply and was not afraid to show it. We wish someone loved us with all our scars and vulnerability and was not hesitant to shout it out loud.
We wish...
And then suddenly we realise the mirage of the whole incident. It comes crashing on to us, realisation....
Realisation that its not our story, it never will be. The tears trickle because somewhere in our hearts we wished we had that life, we had that love, but the truth is, it's what it is...'fiction'
