Ascension

Seeking what was sought
Needing but for naught
Longing for the yearn
Painful through the burn
Believing was once perceived
Perception too once believed
Hungry for nourishment's song
Emptiness yet not for long
Take me from this old place
Place me within His grace
Love me for what is here
Release me yet sustain my fear
Challenge me to fly again
