Depression is not a delusion. It is serious. It teaches you to succumb. It makes you learn how to give up on things. Opening up to people becomes a distant dream. For them ending their life is easier than speaking up. If a person tries to talk to you, if you see them struggling with this baggage, please be kind enough to extend a helping hand. Listen to them. Understand, maybe they are on the verge of ending it all and maybe you have this opportunity of saving a soul. Don't give them advise, give them hugs. Give them assurance that you wouldn't make fun of them. Play with them, eat with them. Crack some jokes or have a tea together. Help them. Save them. This is the only way to make this world less cruel.
