Everyone was applauding, over my success,
But that man, I found raising his shoulder's high,
Standing right in that audience,
Tapping his feet and smiling with pride.
Like that day he too won a prize.
Sure, wasn't me who should get all the praise,
Because his struggles too let me win the race.
But the moment he's called on stage,
"That's my student", all he said.
Surprisingly looking at him, I thought
Was he afraid to call him my teacher?
Or he's hiding his potential over my success.
P.s. -That day I won a race, but he wins heart.
