My peace ..

In the silence of the night
When the world sleeps
The calmness in the breeze
Brings peace to me
While I sit beside my Christmas tree
Watching it decked up with bells, golden balls and candy canes
Little snowmen hanging on its branches
While the fairy lights twinkling
The feeling is unfathomable
The joy unbound
The solace I find in its presence
Is something I never found
The silence is disturbed by ticking of the clock
That snaps me back to the reality
To remind me of the moments that does not last long
So I pen down my memories to remember
About the peace that I found .
The flickering lights on my Christmas tree
Lit my world around .
