Many years ago on this day of September,
Two planes crashed at the twin tower,
And as the building crumble down,
Grief and fear spread across towns.
Even people from other nations,
Who were watching from their homes,
Were filled with so much terror,
And mourned for those who might have died in horror.
Eighteen years have quickly passed,
The terror did not linger, it did not last,
The sight of the burning planes, the buildings, the billows,
Were now a part of the annual September shadows.
