Many years ago on this day you came into reality
Bringing to all those around you a sense of gaiety
As if a breath of fresh air comes our way
You took any trace of discontent away

Fortunate are those who have have known you
Even more blessed are those who have understood you
For they are the ones who have realised the value of someone
Amongst them who can't be replaced by anyone

A smile from your eyes on any day
Makes me stop in my tracks without having any say
A true blessing in every sense of the word
