    Drowning

Their negativity filled the room, as if water filled the room and taking my oxygen away.

As if im a fish being moved to a tank, though their ignorance was my cause of harm.

The cage my body held had dragged me deeper into the water.

Left alone, i turned my arms into gills, just enough to breathe again and take in the oxygen before they pulled me under again.

Years past and ive been above water, though the lines upon my skin glow, they don't flow the negitivity they once bled.
