Dear God I have a lot to say
I know I don't talk to you everyday
Religion had me losing faith
People only crave hate
But I know you are greater
And I feel like you set us aside for later
Or maybe that's just me
What I believe is what I can't see
But what I see is what I can't believe
I'm just holding on honestly
But I'm praying that you hear me
Or are you mad at me
I'm only human still learning with my mistakes
Maybe I don't know what it takes
I just want to hear from you
Cause this world is just ain't true
