Pride means having a feeling of being good and worthy. Pride can be used in a good sense as well as in a bad sense. In a good sense, it means having a feeling of self respect.
Pride in and itself is not bad. One should take some pride in themselves or feel proud about some traits or accomplishments.
However, when pride distorts into smug overconfidence, or a naughty feeling of being superior, always right, better than others. In short, inflated pride, then yes, it is considered bad.
If you put others above yourself, they’ll feel good whenever they are around you.
Never take yourself too seriously. You aren’t aware of people’s achievements until you’re being told. Be humble!
Listen, don’t talk. Listeners are the best people on earth. You are not always right, entertain people’s opinions. Ask the right questions and keep calm for reasonable answers.
Admit your mistakes, forget the I, me, myself. Posses in you the right attitude, without the right attitude even the most sincerely worded apologies will fall flat. Apologize with humility.
Pride destroys relationships. It affects you in all ramifications of life.
