    I buried my memories once
In the middle of a scorching desert
    Below the million twinkling grains
They breathed out their last sigh
As I zigzagged my way through life.

Years later, as I open my windows
    A slight breeze carries inside
The fragrance of a faraway oasis
With a lovely souvenir of rounded quartz
And a sand dune of forgotten emotions.
