A single sentence made me confused
Now what mask do I have to use?

Do I show my true state
Or I have to pretend
So that they will not hate.

Day by day I built these
Learned how to disguise
Caged my own emotions
Locked them there without any cautions.

They were my safe haven
Because I found solace behind them
I forgot these situations will not last
I have to come out of these fast.

Already they were engrafted in it
Living there as they seem to fit.

I clawed I rubbed
They didn't leave that spot
I forgot my own face
I don't know how did I misplace?

Tired of showing these false pretentions
I wanna show my true emotions.

Often I found myself near the shore
In search of a face I can't see anymore...
