Reflections: It's okay to outgrow things. And people. And feelings. Especially if they no longer do you any good. More often than not, we hold onto something even if it's clear it's harming us more than helping us, just because it has some sort of sentiment attached to it like remembrance of good old days or nostalgia or whatever. Let go. There are ways to cherish a memory. Move on. Letting go of something or someone does not mean that you didn't value it enough or it didn't mean enough. Otherwise you wouldn't have been able to let go so easily. Wrong. Sometimes you have to let go just so you can preserve it's memory and continue to remember it in a good way.
