    Our arms were almost touching
    While walking side by side
You were talking about the traffic in your hometown
And how this city calms you down.
I could feel the gravity of your hand,
Calling my fingers to embrace them,
    Whispering," We will be alright.".

    You almost held my hand
When you pulled me away from the passing cars,
And for the first time in a long while, I felt so fragile,
    So vulnerable.
In the world, where I find it difficult to even breathe,
    You believed in me.

    I wrote about you.
    Poems, Stories,
    Anything that kept me sane,
    Sane enough to tell you
    How I felt about you
With every ounce of strength in me.
Cause the world is cruel place
And I have been cold for so long,
That my cracks are aching now.

So I would like to ask you,
" Would you be kind enough to let a stranger in?"
