A tourist cum transportation project, though may seem ambitious, can become a boon to Sopore-Zaingeer-Sonawari-Ganderbal-Bandipora axis.

A park cum view point near Suderkoot Payeen on Sumbal-Bandipora road, overlooking the swathe of Wular lake area besides offering a panoramic view of skylines of areas of Bandipora/Hajin/Baba Shukurdin Sb (during clear sky),has ideally been established. The location, however, can turn into a gold mine with operating of a jetty for launches, motorboats etc. for crisscrossing the Wular lake when in full spate.Boathouse like one in Oooty(TN) is a case in point. The corresponding points can be raised at Bandipora,Watlab,Sopore,Hajin. However, extension jetties may be required during the period of water scantness in the lake though an adequate mode of its replenishment may make it perennially water filled. Being at a distance of only around one hour journey from Srinagar adds to its viability.

This axis can provide multiple facilitation to public viz:
*Visit to Manasbal lake & appurtenants,Wular lake,Watlab/parks,famous Bandipora park/Chitarnar including Sonamarg
*Devotees for the revered shrine of Baba Shukurdin sb
*Devotees for iconic Kheer Bhawani/Ksheer Bhawani Tulmul & Naranag temples
    *Boating in Wular
*Complementary transportation from/to the said locations
*Game changer & succour for those residing on the banks of the lake
*A launching point for trekkers as the area is surrounded by famous trekking routes including the iconic Harmukh range
*Main transit for onward journey to Gurez valley may not be an exaggeration
*Opportunity to explore the beauty & resources of this largest fresh water lake unfortunately not reciprocated
*Available area opposite the viewpoint can also be utilised & flourished

An identical jetty, boathouses can become operative from Watlab side besides exploring options of Gandola up to shrine.
