    Eyes Of The Soldier

Wars are only what we see and hear,
So different to those far and near,
You dont taste the gunpowder in the air,
And dont have rattling around your brain the question of 'is this fair?',

You hear it through the radio,
The propoganda is all you know,
The only time you a gunshot blast,
Is when the presenters imitate the sound with a smashing glass,

The men with the corpses rotting around them,
They are the ones who must taste, and see, and feel, and hear, again and again,
No perspective is more daunting than that of a soldier,
That tells all 5 senses you're soon to be over
