    A dalit American in Chicago

    "I ran away from a village of a South India
    where caste based discrimination was normal
    and when I reached the shores of USA,
    SOME locals discriminated me not because
    they don't like dalits or black skin, rather
    I am an Indian who is taking their jobs.

    Most Americans here look upto Hinduism
    because they think Hinduism means Yoga."

    • lovesmessenger Dont let that dissuade you. Keep going and doing the best you can. You not taking anyone job and if you gained it then you was the best candidate for it. Wall with your head held high and remember what you working hard to obtain. Continue to follow your dream and dont let India or America break you! Stay strong my friend.
