    In her shyness
    she turned away.

    Her dark brown eyes
    had so much to say.

    He could feel
    her anguish and her pain.

    He could feel her guilt
    and her shame.

    See the darkest places
    she'd ever been

He could feel the weight of
    all the suffering she overcame

He could see the beautiful person
    who now reigns
