    Filtered Lives

like the water separating itself from the chaff of the corn,
the dark photo has become a light one, 'colourful and sun-kissed'.

like the photochrome lens shielding the eyes from the sun,
civilisation has broken away from culture.

    from filtered thoughts to
    filtered actions and imaginations to
    filtered beauties- 'free from flaws'.

all things once intertwined are now broken and apart,
each sheltering itself from pain, loss and dismissal.
